1. Strictly speaking, the sensor measures the pH value in the cerebrospinal fluid and also in the blood; this is dependent on the dissolved CO2: increased CO2 partial pressure - decreased pH value.
2. Extensive studies have shown that certain breathing techniques have a positive effect on the quality of life, on symptoms caused by over-breathing (hyperventilation) and even on lung function in adults with mild to moderate asthma.
